Harborough Charity Handed Top Award

A Market Harborough charity has been handed a top accolade for its dedicated work.

HAB Anti-Bullying and Mental Health has received the ‘Volunteer-Led Organisation of the Year’ award from Voluntary Action Leicestershire.

The charity provides support and free counselling services for those going through mental health, bullying, bereavement or domestic abuse issues.

It is its second big honour this year, after founder Marie Connor attended the King’s Garden party at Buckingham Palace in recognition of her tireless work.

The charity says it is ‘blessed’ to have received the latest award and is thanking people for their continued support.
