Councils & Water Firm Meet After Flash Flood In Market Harborough

Authorities have met to discuss Saturday’s flash flooding in Market Harborough town centre which resulted in water entering some shops and businesses.

Officers from Leicestershire Council Council and Harborough District Council were involved in the talks, together with Anglian Water which is responsible for drainage in the town.

Cllr Ozzie O’Shea, cabinet member for highways and transport at the county council says he is confident drain covers were not blocked:
