Arrests After Man Assaulted At Garage

Two people are being questioned by police after a man was assaulted in Rothwell last night.

Officers were called to Coopers Garage on Fox Street at around 6.45pm following reports of an altercation, which left the victim with a broken hand.

A man aged 55 and a 16-year-old boy were arrested and remain in custody.
