Appeal Launched Over Rejection Of New Homes Near Lubenham

Written by on 14th August 2024

A developer is challenging a decision to refuse permission for new homes on the edge of Lubenham.

Harborough District Council rejected the proposal for five house on land at Chapel Farm on Foxton Road, saying it was ‘unjustified development in the countryside.’

The plan for the site, which formed part of an RAF base during WW2, would see agricultural buildings demolished to make-way for three, three-bed homes and two homes with four or more beds, along with 10 parking spaces.

An appeal against the council’s decision has been launched meaning a Planning Inspector will now review it.
