Drink Driver Banned After Crash In Kibworth

A drink driver has been banned from the road for 12 months after crashing into a shed in Kibworth Beauchamp.
Paul Griffith was arrested by police after officers were called to a dog-walking field off Fleckney Road on the evening of May 12th.

Leicester Magistrates’ Court heard a breath test revealed he had 55 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, which exceeded the prescribed limit of 35.
Griffith, 44, of Luther Street in Leicester admitted drink driving and was also ordered to pay a fine of £369, costs of £85 and a victim surcharge of £148.
No-one was injured in the incident.
