Harborough Scouts Parade For St George’s Day
Written by HFM News on 20th April 2024
There was a good turnout today as Scouts paraded through Market Harborough to mark St George’s Day.
People lined the streets earlier this afternoon as 350 youngsters from Scouts, Cubs, Beavers and Squirrels groups took part in the 2024 event – always held on the closest Sunday to St George’s Day; which is this Tuesday, 23rd April.

The parade set off at 1.50pm, with a rolling road closure in place as it made its way from the Symington Car Park in the town centre to St Nicholas’ Church in Little Bowden.
Spectators lined, Symington Way, High Street, The Square, St. Mary’s Road, Kettering Road and Rectory Lane to enjoy the annual spectacle.

Bigal Bhagwan, County Commissioner, and Paul Allenby, District Commissioner, take the salute during the St George’s Day parade in Market Harborough.
