Churches In HFM Region Named On ‘At Risk Register’

Ten churches across the Hfm Region are under threat because of concerns about their condition.
They have been named on Historic England’s new ‘At Risk’ Register, which lists historic places at risk of being lost due to neglect or decay.
Fundraising campaigns are on-going at many of the historic churches in a bid to carry out repairs, including All Saints in Clipston and St John the Baptist in King’s Norton.

Church of St Denys, Clipston Road, Kelmarsh
Church of All Saints, Church Lane, Clipston
Church of St Mary, Ashby Magna
Church of St Peter, Horninghold
Church of St John the Baptist, King’s Norton
Church of St John the Baptist, Little Stretton
Church of St Giles, Gartree Road, Great Stretton, Little Stretton
Church of St Michael, Loddington Lane, Loddington
Church of St Leonard, Misterton with Walcote
Church of St Andrew, Main Street, Owston and Newbold
