Hundreds Turn Out To Mark Remembrance Sunday In Market Harborough

There was a big turnout as Remembrance Sunday was marked in Market Harborough yesterday.
A parade made up of over 200 people from services and other organisations was part of the event and crowds gathered for a short service on The Square, where a two- minute silence was observed at 11am.

The Royal British Legion is thanking all who supported the event and this year’s Poppy Appeal.

On Saturday Armistice Day was marked with short ceremonies by the entrance to the Memorial Gardens on The Square, at the WWI Memorial Portico at Rosewood Manor Care Home on Coventry Road and in Welland Park.
