Harborough Bonfire Night Events Hit by Bad Weather

A further ‘Guy Fawkes Night’ event in the Harborough District has been hit by the current bad weather.

Kibworth & Fleckney Rotary Club has announced that its ‘Bonfire and Firework Spectacular’ due to take place this Saturday evening (4th November 2023) has been cancelled.

They say recent extreme weather has made the field in Kibworth where they were planning to hold it unsafe.

Refunds are being offered to anyone who’s already bought tickets in advance.

It follows earlier news that the ‘Fireworks Spectacular’ scheduled for tonight at the Harborough Showground has been put back one week due to Storm Ciaran.

Organisers Xplosive Events say they hope to be able to stage it on Thursday 9th November 2023 instead.
