Harborough Man Wins Lamborghini & £50k In Competition

A Market Harborough man is celebrating winning a Lamborghini car worth £190,000 and £50,000 in cash after entering an on-line competition.
Maintenance engineer Cory Thackstone was handed the amazing prize just weeks after his 22nd birthday and says it will completely change his life.
He also won a year’s supply of pizza in one of the biggest prize bundles to be handed out by competition firm Best of The Best.
BOTB’s presenter Christian Williams surprised Cory with the news when he arrived home from work earlier this week.
Cory has decided to politely decline the the Lamborghini, to instead receive a cash alternative and treat himself to a Toyota.
He said: “This means everything to me. It’s going to completely change my life.
“As a family, we have had to work really, really hard for what we have got so to win this prize gives us some amazing security.
“I only turned 22 a couple of weeks ago so this is undoubtedly the best birthday present I have ever had.”

The Lamborghini Urus S features a V8 Twin-Turbo engine, 656bhp and top speed of 190mph.
Christian said: “A massive congratulations to Cory on winning this stunning prize, which is one of the biggest prize bundles in BOTB history.
“It’s not everyday a 22-year-old wins a £190,000 Lamborghini.
“His parents told me as soon as he started the car and revved it, he would giggle like a little school boy and he didn’t disappoint me.
“That’s exactly what I do when I get in a car and rev it.”
