Victorian Christmas At Rockingham Castle

Join us at Rockingham Castle this Christmas for an unforgettable festive experience from November 30th – December 3rd and December 7th – December 10th.

You will be transported back in time to Christmas Eve 1849 to the Victorian Era with candlelit Christmas trees, roaring fires and beautiful period costumes.

Guided tours will be taken around the castle by the Governess, Butler, Footman, or Housekeeper.

Each will take on the persona of their respective roles and share fascinating insights into how Christmas preparations were done in 1849.

You can enjoy a treat in Walker’s House Tearoom from their festive menu.

There will be seating available inside and in the overflow heated Marquee – reservations are not required.
