Two Leicestershire firefighters have arrived in Morocco to help search for survivors of last week’s devastating earthquake.
They are among a team of 60 UK search and rescue experts who were flown out last night, along with four search dogs and specialist equipment.

More than 2,500 people are known to have died following the earthquake.
The firefighters are part of the UK International Search and Rescue Team (UKISAR) and Cllr Nick Rushton, Chairman of The Leicester, Leicestershire, and Rutland Combined Fire Authority has expressed his ‘extreme pride’ that firefighters from the county are able to help those in need in such an international tragedy.
