Man Suffers Head Injury In Assault Outside Market Harborough Pub

A man suffered a head injury after being assaulted outside a pub in Market Harborough on Sunday night.
The 40-year-old victim was taken to hospital after being punched outside the Freemasons Arms on St Mary’s Road, at around 11pm.
Police have today described his condition as ‘stable.’
The assault happened outside the Freemasons Arms
A 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing Grievous Bodily Harm following the incident and has since been released on bail, pending further enquiries.
A section of pavement outside the pub was cordoned off by Police following the incident to allow a forensic investigation to be carried out and officers say enquiries into the assault and the circumstances leading up to it are continuing.
