A Level students surpass expectations at RSA

Robert Smyth Academy in Market Harborough reveals its A-level students have continued to surpass expectations – despite the national return to pre-pandemic grading levels.

This time around, Year 13 students have been made to complete full A-Level examinations in line with their peers four years’ ago.

This is despite them not having had the experience or opportunity to sit GCSE Examinations in 2021, due to national COVID restrictions.

The Academy reveals its students have exceeded the A-Level outcomes achieved in 2019, the last time that similar grade boundaries were applied, with an increase in grades at A*/A.
