Harborough Dance School’s Show To Celebrate Theatre’s Future Being Secured

A Market Harborough dance school is celebrating the Lighthouse Theatre being saved from closure by performing its annual show there this weekend.
Nearly 300 youngsters who are members of The Core Dance Company are taking to the stage at the venue in Kettering today and tomorrow.
The show, involving dancers aged 2 to 17, was due to be last performance at the theatre before it closed for good, however a last-ditch deal was struck in recent days to keep it open.
A sell-out audience of 500 will watch this evening’s performance and there are two more tomorrow.
