Go-Ahead For First Shops On New Harborough Housing Estate

It is hoped a national food retailer will open a convenience store on a new housing estate in Market Harborough.
Plans to build the first shops on the Airfield Farm site, off Leicester Road were approved by councillors last night.
Two retail units will form part of the ‘local centre’ and Harborough District Council’s planning committee heard the largest will be made available to food retailers.
The development on land off Harvest Road will also include a café and yoga studio, 13 apartments, 6 houses and parking.
It will be built by Davidsons Developments Ltd.
