Kibworth Pond To Get New Lease Of Life

A pond in Kibworth is being given a new lease of life.
It has been dredged so work to improve the water feature in The Rookery can take place, including installing a new base, fibreglass lining and plants to encourage pond life to flourish.

Kibworth Harcourt Parish Council are using funding provided by developers to pay for upgrade, which is likely to take two to three weeks.
The pond works are part of the Kibworth Parish Councils’ Open Spaces Strategy, the plans of which were shown to villagers as part of the Consultation Day held in September 2021.
