A change for VASL’s ‘Harborough District Young Carers Group’

The Market Harborough based charity which provides services and projects to improve the lives of people in our community has announced a major change for its ‘Harborough District Young Carers Group’.The running of Voluntary Action South Leicestershire’s support group for those aged 11 to 17 who have caring responsibilities in their life is being handed over to Harborough Children’s and Young People’s Charity from the start of next month (1st September 2022).VASL’s Charity Manager Maureen O’Malley told HFM they’ve been working with HCYC for a number of years already, so the change will be pretty seamless – with existing funding being transferred to the new charity and VASL still providing the transport.
