New Joules HQ Wins Top Award

The new Joules headquarters in Market Harborough has won a top award.
The clothing retailer has been handed the Best Corporate Workplace prize by judges at the British Council for Offices’ Regional Awards, who were particularly impressed with its barn-style design.
Around £20m was spent on the development on Rockingham Road which opened last year.

The building brought Joules’ head office workforce of more than 400 people under one roof for the first time.
It is made up of a series of interconnecting ‘barn structures’, specifically designed to power a more flexible way of working.
The judges were “incredibly impressed in how the designers had understood, embraced and delivered a building which directly responded to the Joules brand essence, culture and workplace strategy”.
