School Principal Urges More Open Discussion About Issues Affecting Young People
Written by HFM News on 7th April 2022
The Principal of Robert Smyth Academy in Market Harborough is urging people to talk more openly about issues affecting young people outside of school.
Dan Cleary has written an open letter ahead of the Easter holidays, which has been endorsed by other schools, emergency services, MP Neil O’Brien and the District Council.
It refers to problems with anti-social behaviour in parks last year, where under-age drinking, drugs misuse and other issues raised serious safety concerns.
