Big Thanks After Fantastic Support To Help Ukrainian Refugees

Two vans full of aid for people who have fled Ukraine are due to arrive in Poland today after amazing support from people in and around Market Harborough.
Thousands of items were donated to the appeal launched by Kibworth Easy Riders cycling club, who teamed up with town-firm TGW who acted as a drop-off point.

Club members Keith Low, Mark Evans and Simon Hargreaves are delivering the aid, alongside Ben Poulter, who also offered to go with them on the 1400-mile round trip.
The aid includes children’s toys, with hand-written notes attached from local primary school children, to the child who will receive them.
Over £3,000 has also been donated to an on-line fundraiser to support the appeal and enable further supplies to be purchased in Poland for the refugees.
