Market Harborough Historical Society To Launch New Book

Market Harborough Historical Society is launching a new book about the town’s history.
A team of 12 researchers and writers teamed up to pen the publication, which includes maps and illustrations.
It is the first volume of the two-book series, taking readers through the town’s history to the 18th century.
The second, from the 19th century to present day, is set to be published next year.
It is nearly 60 years since such a book has been published and it will be on sale in local bookshops and at Harborough Museum from April 11th, priced £15.
Town charities have supported the costs and Len Holden, Chairman of the Historical Society, told Hfm he hopes people will find it interesting:
