Arsonists Target Derelict Site For 2nd Time In 2 Months

Arsonists have targeted a derelict house in Desborough for the second time in two months.

Fire crews were called to the former Lawrence’s Factory site, off Harborough Road, at 1.45pm on Saturday.

Rubbish had been set alight on the first floor of the building, which spread to the interior.

Firefighters from Desborough and Kettering tackled the blaze and a referral has been made to the Arson Task Force – a partnership between Police and the Fire Service in Northamptonshire, which aims to deal with and prevent deliberately-started fires.
