Harborough Band Bring Festive Cheer To Shoppers

The Harborough Band is bringing festive cheer to shoppers in the town centre by playing carols in St Mary’s place on weekends in the run-up to Christmas.

The band, which is unable to visit streets in the run-up to Christmas, is thanking people for their support this weekend and is urging people to continue to give generously to their collections.

The group, whose funds have been dented this year as usual events they would attend were cancelled, have also been performing at Seasons Garden Centre in Burton Latimer near Kettering, with half of the proceeds from the collection being donated to Cransley Hospice in Kettering.
