Police Discover Haul Of Suspected Stolen Catalytic Converters

Harborough Police have recovered a haul of catalytic converters believed to have been stolen from cars in recent days.

Officers discovered 27 of them piled up while patrolling near the village of Ullesthorpe last night, and also recovered an Audi car believed to be linked to the thefts.

Enquiries are on-going in a bid to identify those responsible.

There has been an increase in cars being targeted in the past few months for the expensive metals contained within the converters.
