Halloween Light Trail Is Alternative To Trick Or Treating

Youngsters and their parents are being invited to take part in an alternative Halloween event in Market Harborough tomorrow.

With trick or treating being discouraged because of the pandemic, town churches have teamed up to organise the Superhero Light Trail between 4pm and 7.30pm.

Children are asked to dress up as their favourite superhero – grab a torch – and look for clues outside the churches taking part – the Congregational Church, St Dionysius Church, The Methodist Church, St Nicholas Church and St Hugh Church.

The trail has been put together at very short notice to offer children something in place of the usual light parties which churches join together to offer normally, as an alternative to trick and treating.
