Written by on 30th October 2020

There has been another rise in Coronavirus cases in the Harborough District.

170 people tested positive in the seven days to October 25th – compared with 106 the week before.

It takes the infection rate to 181 per 100,000 people – but that is still below the national average of 225.

The coronavirus rate in the Charnwood Borough of Leicestershire has risen to 913, meaning from midnight it moves into Tier Two measures, so people in the borough must not meet indoors socially with anybody they don’t live with or are in a support bubble with.
