Daily Rise In Coronavirus Cases Linked To Technical Glitch

25 new Coronavirus cases were reported in the Harborough District yesterday.

Public Health England says some of the positive tests are likely to have been from the nine days previously, during which results weren’t recorded properly nationwide, due to a technical glitch.

It means there have been 47 new cases across the District in the past week – an increase on the previous seven days, but still below the national average.

More than 400 new cases were confirmed across Leicestershire yesterday.
