A burglar who threatened a man with a knife before stealing his high performance car has been jailed for over nine years.

David Bradley demanded keys to the Audi RS3 after smashing his way into a house in Bitteswell, near Lutterworth, just before Christmas in 2018.

The 29-year-old, formerly of Wappenbury Road, Coventry, admitted conspiracy to burgle at Warwick Crown Court, in relation to that offence and 11 other burglaries and robberies across Warwickshire, in which cars and jewellery was stolen.

Police Staff Investigator Simon Hutton from Warwickshire Police Proactive CID said: “Bradley was part of a highly organised gang of criminals who terrorised homeowners across three counties. Where people got in their way they were threatened with violence.

“The length of the sentence reflects the severity of the offences and the terror Bradley caused in our communities.”
