Firefighters Tackle Straw Blaze In West Langton

An investigation is underway after over 1000 bales of straw were destroyed by fire in West Langton last night.

Fire crews from Market Harborough, Kibworth and Wigston were called to deal with the blaze in an open-sided barn on West Langton Road just before 8.30pm.
Firefighters remain at the scene this morning damping down.
Leicestershire Fire and Rescue service say they received several 999 calls from people reporting the fire and the investigation in a bid to determine how it started is continuing.
