Welland Valley Farm Set For TV Appearance

A Welland Valley farm’s efforts to encourage bees will be featured on TV tomorrow night.

Rectory Farm in Great Easton was chosen to appear on the new series of ‘Jimmy’s Big Bee Rescue’ because of its commitment towards eco and conservation work.

The Channel 4 series, hosted by TV personality and farmer Jimmy Doherty, is exploring how the whole nation can do more to save bees, which have been in sharp decline.

Sisters Fay and Abigail Johnson run the farm, which is also home to Eyebrook Wild Bird Seeds, together with their parents.
