Market Harborough Coronavirus Support Group Set-Up

An on-line support group has been launched in a bid to help people affected by Coronovirus in and around Market Harborough.
The Market Harborough Coronavirus Support Group has been set-up on Facebook by student Amy Hayward, for people to offer help and support to each other, particularly those self-isolating who may need help with shopping and other errands:

Harborough Labour Party is also offering Coronavirus Community Assistance to all vulnerable and self-isolating residents across the constituency, offering to pick up and drop off medicine/prescriptions; collect and drop-off food, toiletries and baby items; and contact isolated individuals to reduce loneliness. Harborough Town Football Club has announced today all games, training and events at the Community Ground are suspended until further notice.
Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust is taking special measures to reduce the risk that Covid-19 will spread, and to make the best use of staff time at St Luke’s Hospital in Market Harborough & the Field Palmer in Lutterworth.
- Visiting times to in-patient wards will be restricted to 6pm to 8pm
- Patients should have no more than two visitors at a time;
- No visitors should be under the age of 16; and
- No visitor should be admitted if they have symptoms of the virus, namely a continuous cough and/or high temperature
