Bid To Sort Out ‘Slow’ Parking Machines

Talks are to take place in a bid to sort out problems faced by drivers using debit and credit cards to pay for parking in Market Harborough.
It’s as people continue to be frustrated by the length of time is takes for transactions to go through.
Harborough Council bosses are to meet with the supplier of the payment machines to try and find a solution, which has also been reported by in other parts of the country that have the same type of machines.
Council Leader Phil King said: “It does appear that this connectivity issue is not just a problem faced by users of our car parks, but is replicated in other parts of the country, but that aside we are working to find a local solution to improve the situation for our residents, businesses and visitors.”
