The idea for the community to buy and run Market Harborough’s Red Cow pub is on hold.
It’s after it was revealed the High Street venue is on the verge of being sold, after being put up for sale for £350,000.
Pete Urmston from Little Bowden was gauging interest in running it as a co-operative.
Owner Greene King says it has received offers from a number of interested parties.
A spokesperson told Hfm: “We have received offers from a number of interested parties to purchase the Red Cow, however due to confidentiality we are unable to discuss any specific details around the sale until it has completed”.
