Water works on Clarence Street, Market Harborough
Drivers are being warned of more disruption in Market Harborough because of roadworks.
Towards the end of next week Kettering Road in Little Bowden will become one-way from the Gores Lane turn, to the Springfield St roundabout, and through to the St Mary’s Road/Clarence Street junction – meaning traffic will only be able to head towards town.
Meanwhile, there will be be temporary lights and lane closures at that junction from Monday – it’s all because of the on-going Severn Trent water pipe renewal programme.
Work on Clarence Street, which has been closed, is due to be completed this weekend.

Leicester Road will also be shut during the day tomorrow and Sunday (8am-6pm) and between 9am and 3pm all next week for resurfacing work.
It will be shut in phases between the Bowden Lane and Innovation Centre roundabout, with the work beginning at the Bowden Lane end of the road.
