Rubbish Dumped At Entrance To Football Club

A large amount of rubbish has been dumped close to the entrance to Kibworth Town Football Club and the Leicestershire Wildlife Hospital.

Containing rubble and other building materials, it’s thought it was flytipped last night off Fleckney Road after being discovered this morning.
The rubbish prevented staff and volunteers from accessing the Wildlife Hospital.
Harborough Council is investigating the incident and is to clear up the mess.

Meanwhile, a man who dumped five bags of rubbish because his bin was full has been fined £400.
Harborough Council traced him after investigating the illegal fly-tipping in Lutterworth last November.
He is the latest to be handed a fixed penalty notice as part of the on-going ‘Tip-Off’ campaign.
