School ‘Overwhelmed’ With Support

Little Bowden Primary School is thanking all who have shown their support after thieves stole all their sports balls.

After an appeal was featured on Hfm yesterday, they have been inundated with offers of replacements from other schools and clubs.

Parents, other individuals, and local businesses have also given money to pay for new footballs, basketballs and netballs, used during PE lessons and after school clubs.

Over 40 were stolen along with other equipment when the school’s sports store was broken into over the summer holidays.
