Fire Crews Tackle Large Blaze

Fire crews have spent the night dealing with a large blaze at the waste transfer station in Rushton near Desborough.

They were called at 6.15pm yesterday to the facility on Oakley Road, with the fire involving recyclable materials.

The blaze, which saw large plumes of smoke visible from miles away, is now extinguished and an investigation into the cause is underway.
