Safety Warning

Harborough’s Fire and Rescue Service has issued a safety warning to
drivers following Thursday’s two car smash at Theddingworth.
It’s asking motorists to take into consideration that, when roads are
wet, your stopping distance will increase.
Officers also posted these dramatic pictures of the two mangled cars on
social media – as a warning for drivers to reduce their speed.
One person needed hospital treatment after the collision – which
happened on the Market Harborough side of the A4304 just after 8am.
Long, rush hour queues followed whilst the vehicles were removed and
highway workers cleaned oil from the road surface.
