Over 70 Speeders In Two Hours

Over 70 drivers were caught speeding on the A6 bypass in just two hours during this morning’s rush-hour.
Police returned to the stretch between Kibworth and Great Glen following mounting safety concerns.
Two drivers were travelling at 100 and 101mph per hour – 18 at over 90 and 54 over 80.
Officers issued numerous traffic offence reports during the checks between 7 and 9am.
Councillors in Kibworth are calling on Leicestershire County Council to install speed cameras on the road, which has seen speeds topping 122mph recorded this year.
