Arrests After Armed Police Surround Car

Armed Police officers have arrested three men after surrounding a car on the forecourt of a Market Harborough petrol station.
It happened just after 2pm, with a number of marked and unmarked Police cars sent to the scene as well as a Police dog.
The Police helicopter was also scrambled to assist officers on the ground.
Leicestershire Police say they became aware of a vehicle travelling through Market Harborough which was linked to offences committed in Cambridgeshire and a number of resources were deployed to intercept it.
The men arrested are being held on suspicion of attempted burglary.
