Controlled Drinking Zone Consultation

Harborough Council is considering if controlled drinking zones are to continue in both Market Harborough and Lutterworth.

The legislation means people drinking in an anti-social manner can be arrested if they fail to surrender alcohol to Police.

The current zone orders, that have been in place for the past three years, run out in August, and people are being asked to take part in a public consultation, before a final decision is taken on if they will be extended.
