Man Produced ‘Gun’ During Town Centre Brawl

It’s emerged a man involved in a large fight in Market Harborough town centre last weekend pulled out a gun and started waving it around.
Police say it wasn’t discharged and have now seized the weapon, which turned out to be an air pistol.
A woman and three men were injured in the brawl on Church Street.
Police say an 18 year old man held on suspicion of affray has been further arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm.
He’s been bailed pending further enquiries, including officers studying CCTV footage of the disorder outside the Kings Head and Nags Head pubs at 2.30am on Saturday the 16th.
Officers are still appealing for people who saw what happened and haven’t yet come forward to get in touch.
