Motorcyclist Injured In Crash

A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a crash on the B6047 between Shangton and Tur Langton on Saturday.

The rider, a man in his 40s, was involved in collision with a lorry just before 11.30am and ended up in a ditch.

Firefighters helped move them after they were treated at the scene by paramedics, before being flown to the University Hospital in Coventry by Air Ambulance.

The road was closed for several hours while emergency services worked at the scene and a Police accident investigation was carried out.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or saw either vehicle beforehand is asked to contact the police.

Officers would also like to speak to anyone who may have either captured footage of the collision or recorded the vehicles before the incident took place on dashcam equipment.
