One of the drivers involved in a collision between two school buses near Desborough last summer has been charged with careless driving.
The crash happened on the 10th of July at around half past three – when two double decker buses collided on the B576 – as pupils were being taken home from Rothwell to Desborough.
27 children and a driver were hurt in the crash and 12 were taken to hospital for treatment.
Following investigations, Northamptonshire Police have now charged 59 year old bus driver Angela Low with not driving with due care.
Ms Low, who comes from Desborough, is pleading not guilty to the offence – and will appear at Wellingborough Magistrates’ Court on the 25th of April.
