Man Attacked By Armed Intruders

A man suffered slash wounds after masked men armed with knives forced their way into a house in Market Harborough in the middle of the night.

The victim suffered cuts to his arm and hands following the incident at the property on Welland Park Road.

Police say three men, who had their faces covered, got in just before 2am last Wednesday and fled following the attack.

Officers, who say they are treating it as an isolated incident, are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
