Speed Limit Set To Be Cut

The speed limit on several rural roads in the Harborough District is set to be reduced to 50mph.

Highway bosses say it follows a review that found they have an accident rate higher than the national average.

The current 60mph limit on parts of Langton Road, Kibworth Harcourt, Kibworth Road, Tur Langton as well as Whatborough Road, Wood Lane, Oakham Road, Hyde Lodge Road, Launde Road and Lodge Road in Tilton On The Hill would be cut if there are no objections to the proposal.
