Cash Stolen After ATM Machine Blown Up

Thieves have stolen cash after blowing up the cash machine on Western Avenue in Market Harborough.
People living near-by have told Hfm they heard a loud explosion and Police say the received a number of 999 calls just after 1.20am.
The free-standing machine, outside the shops, has been left badly damaged with pieces of it strewn across the pavement and road, although Police say there were no reported injuries.

A vehicle believed to be an Audi RS6 with the registration plate EF12 VRG was reportedly seen near the incident.
Detective Sergeant David Speight told Hfm: “We are carrying out full enquiries into the incident which happened during the early hours of the morning.
“If you saw or heard anything, or have any information regarding the vehicle mentioned, we urge you to get in touch. If you have any CCTV or dashcam footage from around the area at the time, we also urge you to check this to see if you have any information which could help us.”
