Long-Standing Shop Closes

One of Market Harborough’s oldest shops has closed due to ‘difficult trading conditions.’
The owner of W J Loomes butchers on Church Square is hopeful someone else can be found to take-on the shop, with the lease now available.
The shop was bought by Market Harborough-based CJ Galleon Limited last year, after previously trading as Bates Butchers and Delicatessen for many years.
There has been a butchers shop in the premises for over 50 years.
