Hundreds Of Tools Security Marked

Hundreds of power tools belonging to tradespeople have been security marked and registered during an initiative launched in Market Harborough.
Police have teamed up with SDS Trade Equipment, who have been providing the service for free, in a bid to return tools to their rightful owners should they be stolen and then recovered.
It follows the continued problem of vans being broken into and expensive tools stolen.

The two organised event, the latest today, have been so successful, SDS, based on Albany Road, have agreed to continue providing the service indefinitely, with tradespeople able to call to book an appointment to get their tools marked.
